About Miss AMS
Miss AMS advocates that our pageant should focus on qualities beyond beauty. Every girl is beautiful, and we emphasize education, grace, poise, and overall presentation. To join the Miss AMS pageant annually, contestants are required to submit an essay, which contributes 50% of their initial score.
We aim to foster a community of kindness, generosity, and inclusivity through activities and service. Our goal is to show the girls that beauty extends beyond appearance to how we treat others.
We believe that the knowledge and confidence instilled in our girls will shape their future. We aspire for our pageant to positively influence them, guiding them to believe in themselves. Our mission is to empower these young ladies to pursue their aspirations with the assurance that they are intelligent and beautiful individuals inside and out.

When the school first opened in 2005 and we started Miss AMS, we never imagined that it would grow into such a significant event and remain a vital part of Austin Middle School.
